Thanksgiving

Ryan had to work until about noon on Thanksgiving Day. But shortly after he was released from work, we loaded the car and drove to Austin. Levi took a little nap in the car on the way there and then enjoyed watching the country side fly by as we rolled into Austin. He is a great little car rider, always has been. We’re very thankful for that.

We had a relaxing time. We played hard, ate some great food and enjoyed having nothing to do but just be.

I think one of the highlights of the trip was our trip to the park on Saturday. We all rode the Sophie, the Cedar Park Train. It was a 10 minute ride and covered 9 miles. It wound through trees and fields. We even went through a tunnel. Levi LOVED it!!

Once we got home and started unpacking, Levi found all our train tickets, which lead to him to talking about the train and trying to leave the house to ride the Choo-Choo. He stood at the front door w/tickets in hand saying, “Choo-Choo Go” for most of the morning. We talked about the train, looked at pictures of the train. He had a great time to say the least and I’m sure we’ll be doing this again.

After the train ride, we found ourselves watching a soccer game.

All in all a great little trip. Good family time.
