MUD

Our days are becoming warmer, here in Georgia. My kids have been begging me to pull out the summer water toys. Even though the weather is summer like, the water is still ice cold!

After several consecutive days in the up 80's, we hooked up our garden hose and spray toy! You would've thought it Santa himself was coming to play by all the excitement, cheering and jumping up and down. Yes, my kids were thrilled! Shelby, while clapping and screaming "yahhhh" scrambled to find her Crocs! She couldn't get them on fast enough. She is very passionate about all things water. Levi quickly gathered up some trucks and containers to play with in the water.

After a good while, our kids discovered a mud puddle that developed from the sprinkler run off. For the next hour our two little ones delightfully splashed, dug and played in the mud. I loved watching them explore, laugh and find such joy in something so simple. Since then, they have been asking me daily if they can play in the mud. Looks like we have a new interest and activity to add to our summer favorites.
