Height: 36.5 inches
Weight: 34 lbs
Favorite food: chicken nuggets, grapes, yogurt, bananas, cookies and cream and fruit oatmeal.
Favorite book: A set of Mickey Mouse Club House books he received at Christmas. They’re tiny and are stored in a little carrying case, which he totes everywhere.
New words: adding new ones all the time. Lately been adding “s” to words. Example: mommies, daddies. When he calls for me, he usually says, “mommies”. Also, adding the suffix “ing” to most words. Example: wetting (when he’s peeing in his pants), helping, hurting (when he gets hurt or notices someone is hurt).
Personality: A boy of compassion. He’s been showing a lot of concern and interested in those that are hurting or upset. He is quick to pay attention and to want to help. Likes to gives hugs or say “okay” to reassure. He is still mister social too. Says “hi” to everyone!
Favorite Activities: He loves going to school and to church. Enjoys chick-fil-a, a trip to the grocery store or target are always fun and the park.
Favorite Toy: His cars, trucks and trains are still his favorite. He has become more animated as he plays with them-- making crashing sounds, driving fast sounds and even a nice little beeping noise when a vehicle is backing up. But overall, I’d say boxes and baskets are a new interest. He loves hiding in them, putting stuff in them to carry from room to room.
Sleep Habits: Levi is such a great sleeper. I’m so thankful! Enjoys to sleep. He takes 1 nap, which he still needs! Starts around 1230/1. He sleeps anywhere from 1.5 To 2 hours. He’s up by 3 no matter what. If he sleeps past 3 it interferes with bedtime. Bed time is at 8. Wakes usually around 7:15/7:30. (Yes, only took us 2 months to recover from the time change, but we’ve made it back to 7. PRAISE GOD!).
Cuddle Bug: Lately, Levi enjoys snuggling up. He loves pillows and blankets…which he had no interest in as a baby. Just in the past few months he has started to sleep with a blanket over him. He loves curling up in a pile of clothes or towels or bed covers and then he pretends he is going to sleep.
Mommy Time: Lately, Levi wants me to go “nite-nite”. He tucks me in my bed, shows me where to lay my head. He then brings in a basket of books, climbs in the bed with me and we sit and read. I love these moments. So sweet and relaxing. Plus, Its been a nice little treat in the final weeks of this pregnancy.
Daddy Time: Loves to “help” his daddy do anything. Packing for work, shaving, assembling/fixing something, yard work. I think wrestling time and being chased by daddy are still among the popular. They also enjoy sitting on the couch watching tv together.
I’ll leave you with a few pictures of Levi playing with his shadow today. Levi discovered his shadow on the wall and began interacting with it. He patted it, talked to it and then played hide-n-seek with it. (He started counting and then looked for his shadow). Too cute.
