Almost 2!

Can't believe that next month our little one will be 2! It seems like in the last few weeks he's changed so much. For starters, he's having another word explosion. Many new words and a few little 2 word sentences. So cute! He's most talkative 1st thing in the morning, after dinner and, my favorite, bed time. After we put him to bed he talks away for 20 or 30 minutes.

Tractor! Tractor! Traccccccccctor!--Levi's new love! Now, a tractor can be anything from a riding lawn mower, to a farm tractor, to a bulldozer, to a crane. He gets so excited when he sees one. As we drive through town, he excitedly informs us of all the tractors. Usually, once he spots one on a work site or location, he remembers it. Every time we drive by it, he starts looking for it and saying, "tractor, tractor!". The other night we were diving down the interstate and ended up driving through a construction site. There must have been 6 or 7 tractors working on the road. Levi didn't know what to do with himself! He was bouncing up and down in his car seat, passionately pointing, clapping and shouting tractor tractor traccccccccctor. This went on for the next 2 miles! Happy Kid!

Its been so hot around here. We've spent most of our time playing in doors or swimming. The other day we took a little family outing to Toysrus,--just to get out. Plus, it was a good time for us to get some b'day ideas for the little man.

This is what Levi would love to have....a battery operated car.














I walked by Levi's room the other day during nap time. His little table lamp was turned on, the door was open and there was no kid in the bed! I peaked my head into his room to see where he was...this is what I found
