September has arrived, but she forgot to pack her cooler weather. We’re still sweating it out in the upper 90’s. Even with the heat, we’ve found ourselves spending more time outside the last few days. I think we’re just all tired of being stuck inside due to rain or heat. So, maybe, just maybe, if we spend more time outside and pretend hard enough the fall weather will arrive…right?!
Yesterday we played at not 1 park, but 2 parks. Levi has hit a stage were he’s has a few favorite shirts and that is all he wants to wear. Two of these shirts are long sleeve. In his little independent way, he was determined to wear this shirt yesterday in the stifling heat. Thank goodness he picked out shorts to go with it. I asked if he wanted to take if off while he played. He kindly gave me a “no, thank you” as he ran off to play.
This next picture is funny to me for two reasons…for starters, Shelby looks lost in the bucket swing and Levi fills up the swing. Secondly, they were both looking at me and just as I started to take the picture a motorcycle went screaming by…turned heads!
Shelby chilled and chewed on her orange do-nut.
